- Bed is made of high tensile cast iron (FC25)
- Bed ways are hardened and ground
- Gears in headstock are hardened and ground
- Leadscrew is equipped with torque limit safety device
- Feed rod is equipped with overload safety clutch
- Rapid foot-operated brake
- Starting lever is equipped with safety device
- Apron is equipped with an interlocking device to prevent feeding
inter-gearing during automatic feeding and the half-nut operation
- An overload safety device is equipped to shut off feeding
automatically when longitudinal or cross feeding is overloaded or
obstructed
