Features of variable high speed precision lathe machines include:

• Gears in headstock are made of chrome-molybdenum alloy steel (SCM21)
• Gears in headstock are hardened & precision ground to ensure smooth and quiet running
• Main spindle is 3-position supported by high precision bearings to ensure cutting stability and accuracy
• Headstock and gear box are totally enclosed and oil bath lubricated
• Thread cutting includes inch, metric, module and D.P.
• Extra wide bed is rigidly constructed with high tensile meehanite cast iron and annealing treated
• Bedways are high frequency hardened and ground
• Slide way between bed and carriage is coated with Turcite-B to ensure smooth traverse
• One-piece constructed base avoids vibration and tool chattering during heavy duty cutting
• Hardened and ground carriage assures long durability
• Automatic lubrication for longitudinal and cross slide ways
• Cross feed screw is backlash adjusted to ensure feeding accuracy
• Apron controlling mechanism is interlock to ensure safety of machine
• Tailstock is rigid and the quill is hardened and ground ensuring accuracy even in long distance support
